Procurement Practices

In 2023, we worked with 328 suppliers, with total procurement spending of approximately NT$6.3 billion. Local procurement in Taiwan accounted for 47%, a decrease from the previous year, primarily due to adjustments in our procurement strategy in response to the market downturn.

Responsible Minerals Sourcing

In 2023, we surveyed 37 production-related procurement suppliers, achieving a 100% response rate. The results showed that all suppliers used 3TG metals sourced from 128 RMI-approved smelters.

Supplier Evaluation

Fitipower conducts audits on suppliers, covering 13 key areas including material control, corrective actions, human rights, and green products. New suppliers must pass trial production and the aforementioned evaluations to be registered as qualified suppliers (in 2023, 100% of new suppliers were screened using environmental and social criteria). For 2023, we planned to include 24 suppliers in the annual audit program, achieving a 100% completion rate with no major deficiencies or risks identified.

Supplier Sustainability Evaluation

In response to international trends and societal concerns, Fitipower continuously adjusts its supply chain management strategy. In 2023, we developed the "Fitipower Sustainable Supplier Commitment," "Fitipower Supplier Code of Conduct," and "Fitipower Supplier Sustainability Risk Assessment." These were distributed and implemented in 2024, requiring suppliers to fully understand the requirements and sign the commitment. We also regularly track suppliers' sustainability performance through assessments, using the results as a factor in procurement decisions.
